Description	Idolator is an online music blog. Its offices are located in New York City. It is a part of Nick Denton's GawkerMedia corporation, alongside Gizmodo, the Wonkette and Gawker itself (as well as 11 other blogs). Content Idolator is notable for its coverage of popular acts and industry news, two topics often neglected by other, more independently minded music blogs. In addition to Web reporting, Idolator hosts free MP3s and music videos. Its format mirrors GawkerMedia's other online periodicals, with daily posts and week-ending round ups. Unlike many other blogs, Idolator does not post unsanctioned leaks and rarely relays information about those releases unless it has been reported elsewhere.
