Description	Band Weblogs is based in Oxford, England and was founded in 2005 by singer/musician Jenny May originally from New England. Initially created as a band and music blog directory, the site has grown and features press releases, tour dates, reviews, exclusive interviews, videos, MP3s used with permission and guest music bloggers promoting signed and unsigned bands of all genres, from around the world. Band Weblogs has continued to grow since 2005, with press releases and music news submitted to the site on a daily basis. Live reviewers have also been contributing to the site. Exclusive interviews with up and coming and established bands and musicians keeps Band Weblogs fresh and unique.

Pros	Open to publishing press releases from many different sources, so the site is up to date with the latest music news and discoveries. There are also CD reviews and live reviews of some of the best new and established bands and artists. Unsigned bands can sign up and promote themselves alongside established acts. Band Weblogs Podcast Show has been known to introduce excellent bands.
Cons	Since Band Weblogs is open to publishing press releases, reviews tend to get buried, however, there are links that point directly to the music reviews and interviews. Although there have been some great bands played on the Band Weblogs Podcast Show, the podcast hasn't been active for awhile, with random postings, and can be difficult for bands to get played.
