History
Lisa Gottheil started 2:30 Publications in 1997 after several years as A&R executive for Atlantic Records. She started the firm in order to be more selective. Gottheil also founded Autotonic Publicity, which ceased operations in the mid-90s.

2:30 Publications has had great success with recent clients, engineering successful campaigns for both Of Montreal and the Hold Steady. 2:30 Publications does not charge a set rate and negotiate time and financial commitments on an artist-to-artist basis.
